What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reedsburg Head Start Center Assistant position at Renewal Unlimited?
Ever dreamed of having a rewarding job AND your summers free? The Renewal Unlimited Head Start program is seeking a candidate with a passion for working with preschool aged children! This team-oriented position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during the school year from mid-August through the end of May. The Center Assistant hours Monday through Friday. The hours primarily are between approximately 7:00am-5:30pm, 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be available Monday through Friday, August through May
- Works under the direction of the Teacher and Teacher Assistant to follow curriculum, spark creativity and help with school readiness goals
- Must complete agency paid Early Childhood I & II classes within 1 year of hire. Early Childhood I within first 6 months and Early Childhood II within a year of hire.

- Center Assistant position is eligible for monthly incentive payments into June 2025, which could be up to $250 additional per month.
Preference may be given to candidates with completed Early Childhood I & II classes or professional experience with preschool children.
