Insurance Specialist
Private optometric practice looking to hire a insurance specialist/ billing specialist with medical insurance knowledge and experience. Duties include insurance filing, posting insurance payments, ensuring correct insurance payments are received as well as aiding the front desk as needed with scheduling appointments, patient check-in, patient check-out.
Preference will be given to candidates with a strong customer service and medical insurance background. Beginning pay will be based on a candidate's skills and experience that match the job.
Preference given to applicants with experience in an optometric/ ophthalmic setting.
Opportunities may be available to cross train into other areas of the office.
