Position Summary:
We’re looking for compassionate, driven counselors and therapists to join our growing multidisciplinary team. As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients unlock their potential and build a path to emotional and psychological well-being. You’ll deliver a blend of individual, group, and family therapy, all while working alongside like-minded professionals to provide comprehensive, wraparound care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical services, including intake assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, and family therapy.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address client needs.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with OMHC and state regulations.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Attend regular supervision meetings and staff development training.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and state licensing requirements.
- Engage in weekly supervision and team meetings to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by maintaining licensure and completing required training.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
- Valid LGPC, LMSW, LCSW-C, or LCPC license in Maryland.
- 1 year of experience in providing mental health counseling.
- 2 years of experience in conducting assessments and delivering therapy.
- Strong organizational skills with a client-first mentality.
- Ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
