COMPANY BACKGROUND
The Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks is Northern Nevada’s premier professional sports organizations located at Greater Nevada Field in the heart of downtown Reno. POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Group Sales is a key leadership position on the ticket sales team that will assist in hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training a sales team focused on selling group tickets and hospitality areas (including nightly suite rentals, Fan Experience Packages, etc.) for the Reno Aces and other Greater Nevada Field events. The ideal candidate will develop both short- and long-term plans to program all group sales events. This person will be responsible for selling and managing a book of business with a large upside for earning potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  •  Responsible for the successful programming and execution of all group sales events to exceed customer expectations and ensure renewal business in future years.
  •  Grow revenue through a variety of approaches including but not limited to face-to-face appointments and comprehensive call campaigns while tracking the return on investment for these approaches.
  •  Responsible for selling group tickets and hospitality for the Aces and Greater Nevada Field Events by targeting churches, schools, youth sports/camps, civic organizations, and others.
  •  Sell a full menu of ticket products, including, but not limited to Group tickets and Season Memberships. The Manager, Group Sales is responsible for achieving individual sales goal. 
  •  Establish and lead productive sales events throughout the year at specified home games to drive additional revenue. 
  •  Develop and implement creative programs that increase sales opportunities and, in turn, increase overall Group Ticket Sales. 
  •  Responsible for resolving game day problems or other ticket problems, make group ticket decisions including, but not limited to, ticket packages, prices, and relocation.
  •  Collaborate with Community Relations and Game Entertainment to sell tickets to groups experiences during home games.
  •  Work closely with other sales groups and departments to achieve overall company goals. 
  •  Collaborate with Vice President of Ticket Sales in motivating the sales culture in line with the rest of the department and company.
  •  Responsible for day-to-day management, and professional development of the Account Executives. 
  •  Produce timely and accurate reporting that monitors the progress of the sales team individually and collectively. 
  •  May be required to represent the Aces at external or internal functions to increase the company’s exposure and improve sales opportunities. 
  •  Work all sales related events.
  •  Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  •  Bachelor’s Degree required
  •  Required 2-3 years of ticket sales, outside sales and/or services experience preferably in a sports or hospitality industry 
  •  1-2 years of management experience preferred
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office
  •  Strong leadership, management, and supervisory skills 
  •  Ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, peers, and management of all levels
  •  Highly organized with great attention to detail

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  •  Work in fast-paced environment 
  •  Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, and weekends
  •  Minimal travel required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  •  Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  •  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs

Salary : $52,600 - $66,600
