Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of complex security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and infant abduction prevention systems.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and resolution of critical system failures.
• Oversee and refine the Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure maximum system uptime and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians, including training on new technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with Security Leadership and IT to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic upgrades.
• Coordinate closely with the Manager of Security to align technical operations with organizational security goals, ensure timely communication of system issues, and support the execution of department-wide initiatives and compliance efforts.
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract oversight, performance evaluation, and coordination of large-scale installations or upgrades.
• Lead security infrastructure planning for new construction and renovation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system schematics, configuration records, and incident logs.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, data privacy regulations, and internal confidentiality policies.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergency technical incidents as needed.
