Position Summary
As a Leasing Consultant at RENU Property Management, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective residents and a key player in maintaining high occupancy across our B2R and multifamily assets. You’ll bring excellent customer service skills, sales expertise, and a collaborative spirit to every interaction while ensuring adherence to company standards and legal requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales
- Conduct all leasing activities, including responding to inquiries, scheduling and providing property tours, and closing lease agreements.
- Engage prospects with compelling presentations that highlight RENU’s properties, features, and value.
- Consistently follow up with prospects to convert leads into leases.
Resident Experience
- Support a seamless move-in process by preparing lease documents, inspecting units with new residents, and ensuring completion of all paperwork.
- Foster positive resident relations and support resident retention initiatives.
- Participate in on-site marketing, neighborhood outreach, and resident engagement programs.
Administration & Compliance
- Collect and process application fees, security deposits, rents, and other payments accurately.
- Enter prospect and resident data into property management software (e.g., RealPage) in a timely and precise manner.
- Maintain records and reports related to leasing, renewals, and occupancy.
- Uphold Fair Housing regulations, local/state housing laws, and company policies at all times.
Performance Standards
- Achieve and maintain target scores on leasing shop evaluations (virtual, phone, and in-person).
- Contribute ideas for innovation and process improvements to enhance leasing success and resident satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of completed college coursework preferred.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leasing, real estate sales, or property management.
- Experience in SFR (Single-Family Rental), B2R (Build-to-Rent), or multifamily leasing strongly preferred.
- Proven sales and customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and comfort learning new software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
