River’s Edge Products is one of the most dominant brands in the outdoor gift market, specializing in fishing, hunting, western, and licensed gift products striving to provide our customers with home decor and gifts that display their love of the great outdoors. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our growing team and lead our sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the success of our sales department by setting goals; produce monthly sales reports; complete monthly forecasting, and track sales.


SALES MANAGER

The sales manager will report to the Director of Sales and President of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies to expand our customer base, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Sales Manager will also be tasked with coaching and mentoring the sales team to achieve their targets and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Quarterly bonus plan and/or commission available dependent upon meeting sales targets


Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives.

• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.

• Manage key customer accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for growth and improvement.

• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance.

• Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and product development to support sales initiatives and campaigns.

• Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.  

• Performs other duties as assigned. 

• There may be some traveling required for this position


Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

• Experience in home décor and gifts sales is preferred.  


Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

• Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. 


Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
