Job Summary
Republic, a 108-year old nationally recognized, third generation enterprise headquartered in the Quad Cities has an immediate opening for a full-time delivery driver/warehouse employee at our Dubuque location.
Republic is one of the largest independent distributors of electrical, heating, air conditioning, energy management, refrigeration and sign support products in the entire Midwest. In addition to the headquarters in Davenport, IA, Republic has branches located in Dubuque Iowa, Cedar Rapids Iowa, Des Moines Iowa, and Peoria Illinois.
Qualifications:
This starting position would include delivery services and warehouse. This position is entry level with opportunity for advancement.
· Valid Driver's License
· Clean driving record
· CDL preferred but not required
· Delivery driver experience
· Proficiency in operating box trucks
· Familiarity with moving, forklift, and pallet jack operations
· Good customer service skills
· Energetic
· Attention to detail
· Physically able to squat, bend and lift over 50 lbs. frequently
· Pass a D.O.T. physical
· Able to pass a drug screen
