Your Mission Transform drawings into finished pieces. You’ll interpret shop drawings, run accurate calculations, and set up workflows that move projects from rough stock to refined parts. You keep equipment tuned, the schedule on track, and the team aligned—without sacrificing quality. What You’ll Do Fabricate architectural components: custom stairs, millwork, and trim packages.Operate core machines: joint, plane, shape, rip, resaw, and chop.Use power tools with precision: drill, route, drive fasteners, cut biscuits/dominos.Apply hand-tool craft: planing, chisel work, glue-ups, meticulous fastening.Handle finishing stages: grain popping, filling, sanding, and final inspection.Maintain shop machinery (jointer, planer, table saw, shaper, bandsaw, wide belt) and keep tools sharp and true (replace bits/blades; hone cutters and irons).Proactively identify issues; perform minor repairs and adjustments. Lead the Flow Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized; manage lumber inventory and tallies as assigned.Assist with scheduling and documentation; coordinate workflow with internal teams.Join weekly meetings with woodshop, estimation, and technical teams to align priorities.Partner with the lead woodworker on standards and best practices; offer informal coaching to junior team members.Advance a culture-first, quality-driven environment through clear communication and teamwork.
