Position Purpose
Overseeing property and team management functions in a designated market
This is a field-based role. You will be responsible for building relationships and ensuring they receive first-class customer service from day one.
Job Responsibilities
- Address and resolve resident issues and maintenance concerns to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Optimize revenue, reduce expenses, enhance resident experience, and achieve financial targets for homes in the assigned market.
- Manage and resolve past-due balances for assigned residents.
- Aim to achieve the highest possible rate of annual renewals and rent increases.
- Comply with all relevant laws, including Fair Housing, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with resident move-ins and move-outs and responding to requests promptly and professionally, including handling on-site duties as needed.
- Coordinate with the compliance team regarding HOA/Code enforcement communications.
- Regular visits to assigned properties; this may include (but not be limited to) home showing and move-in/out activities as well as HOA
- Minimum of two years of administrative experience in property management or a related field.
- An active real estate license in the state of placement is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience in a related field (preferred).
- Ability to effectively handle diverse situations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, as well as Google Suite.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence and goal achievement.
- Must be a reliable, organized team player.
- Must be professional, energetic, and positive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple daily tasks and longer-term strategic projects, prioritizing and meeting deadlines set by management.
