Respondology is seeking an innovative, design-focused Product Manager to join our ad tech start-up on the rise. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make significant contributions at a growth-stage startup making a difference in the world.
The ideal candidate will have SaaS product experience in the marketing, social or moderation space. You have successfully taken a product from ideation to launch in a start-up environment, adhering to the vision with the ability to pivot on tactics when necessary. You thrive in a 0-1, innovative environment where things move quickly.
In this role you will work with some of the largest brands and sports teams in the world, inventing and designing effective, innovative solutions and products that will delight these customers. You will be paired with a high-functioning engineering team to work with cutting-edge technology in the GenAI and NLP space, both iterating on existing technology and novel features.
You will have a high level of ownership alongside a talented team who likes to have fun but takes their product & engineering work seriously.

The ideal candidate
- A design UX/UI background—this role is more design-focused than technical.
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit, ability to innovate and true passion for Respondology’s mission
- Has a deep understanding of user needs and behavior, and can translate those into actionable product requirements
- A track record of launching successful products and features
- Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces
- Ability to create examples through wireframes and mockups
- Ability to prioritize and scope product requests balancing long term vision and short-term pain points
- Innovates and pushes the boundaries of our current product design
- Demonstrates ability to deal with ambiguous environments, including adapting to new challenges, scenarios, and working styles
- Highly motivated and resourceful, able to navigate complex issues independently
A Day in the Life
- Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Product, Project Management, and Data Science to understand goals and establish success criteria with clearly measurable objectives and key results to deliver great user experiences
- Identify new opportunities and product areas for Respondology to pursue
- Ideate and communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes and prototypes using Figma or similar tool.
- Create and maintain design consistency.
- Develop the product roadmap, attaining alignment on prioritization and timelines to meet business goals
- Measure, analyze, and report to the organization on the success of our products
- Track project tasks, provide status updates and ensure tasks completed on schedule utilizing project management tools (e.g. Jira, Airtable)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, Customer Success and C-suite to define and launch successful product features.

Here's what you need to get our attention
- Bachelor’s in Product Management, Business, UX/UI design, Engineering or related degree - or equivalent work experience: If you have a four-year degree, that's great; we care more about your past experience and ability to do the job, so please apply even if you don't have a degree
- 5 years of proven B2B SaaS product management experience
Here's what will make us call you for sure
- Experience with Figma
- Previous experience in software designed for marketers in the social, moderation or analytics space.
- You have an approachable yet professional personality, you communicate well directly and can articulate points within a complex issue.
- Strong opinions, loosely held and willing to hear out the perspectives of others.
- Thrives in a “building the plane while flying it” environment
Not required, but will give you an edge:
- Product marketing experience
Compensation: $85-$115k DOE plus equity
