We are seeking a Transporter Radiology for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications
1. Transport patients to and from the Radiology Department.
2. Become familiar with and be able to adequately inform and explain to patients all procedures, preparations and examinations.
3. Maintains equipment and ensure cleanliness of all stretchers, wheelchairs and transport devices.
4. Perform and document daily all necessary instrument calibrations.
5. Receive and sign for delivered department supplies and ensure all items signed for have been received.
6. Assist with procedures for quality control.
7. Maintain all department records related to quality control program.
8. Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
9. Provide back-up support to receptionist in delivering reports to floors, answering phones, burning CD / DVD, or other duties as assigned.
10. Attend in-service and staff meetings.
11. Other duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need :
Licensure : BCLS certification through American Heart Association required upon hire.
Experience : Previous hospital experience preferred.
