We're building a team of experts who can help our customers tackle their home improvement projects with confidence. Our Home Improvement Retail Representatives train on site at our Lakeland, FL office and then move to remote work after training. They assist our customers with online orders, coordinate the delivery and installation of major appliances, and provide support so that customer projects are built to last. “ A customer called in upset about an order that he had placed. The order was supposed to be ready for pickup, but he had not received any communication about it one way or the other! This order was important to our customer because he had promised his partner that he would accomplish her desired project that weekend, but it wasn’t going to be possible without his new tools. This customer lived almost an hour away from the physical pickup site, and after having been burned by previous pick up orders that claimed to be ready but were not there when he made the drive, he was not going to risk it this time. Gas is expensive! I wanted to make sure that this loyal customer had the best experience with me and with our company, so I called his local store for him and waited on the line until I could get confirmation that the manager had eyes on the pickup order and that it was ready for my customer to make the trek over to get it. In doing so, we saved a sale, a loyal customer, and potentially even saved a marriage from an unnecessary fight!”


How can you make a difference?

• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate with customers over the phone, via email, and/or online chat
• Navigate a computer with multiple windows and screens
• Resolve any customer issues while providing an exceptional customer experience
  
  
  

What should I bring to the interview?

• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Typing Skills: Ability to type 25 words per minute
• Technical Proficiency: This position requires you to toggle back and forth between multiple systems while communicating with the customer. You will need to have intermediate/advanced technical proficiency
• Availability: Open availability between 6am-2am EST 7 days a week
• Pay Expectation: Our home improvement pay rates start 14/hr

To Train At Our Lakeland Site, You Need

• Reliable transportation to get to and from work daily
• Live within 50 miles of the physical location
• (333 N Lake Parker Ave, Lakeland, FL 33801)
• The type of personality that thrives on social connection, work events, in person mentoring, and uncapped career growth!
• This position moves to remote work after training, and it requires you to have your own equipment*
  
  

To Work Virtual In Your Home, You Will Need

• A PC or laptop running Windows 10 operating system (NO Mac, Chromebook, Tablet or Smartphone)
• High Speed Internet – minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and a minimum upload speed of 6 Mbps
• Ability to connect directly to the internet service provider modem with an Ethernet cable, (WIFI is not acceptable)
• 2 dedicated computer monitors minimum 13 inches or larger
• A VoIP USB Headset with microphone and a Web Cam for Training
• Dedicated workspace in your home that is free of background noise and distractions
• Additional equipment specifications will be tested during the interview process
