Pay Range: $55,000 – $65,000 per year

About The Role

Our charter school client is seeking a passionate School Social Worker to support students' social, emotional, and academic success in a Montessori-inspired, environmentally focused school setting. This is a full-time, onsite position in Norton Shores, MI.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs
• Provide individual and group counseling
• Develop and implement student support strategies
• Participate in IEP and child study team meetings
• Refer students/families to community services and follow up
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records
• Promote student conflict resolution and emotional regulation
• Provide staff training and consult on student behavior
• Uphold NASW Code of Ethics and school policies
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Michigan SSW certification (310) or temporary approval
• School-based experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Comfort working in outdoor/nature-based education settings is a plus
