What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Retina Associates of Cleveland?

Retina Associates of Cleveland, Inc., one of Ohio’s largest private ophthalmology practices, is currently seeking a Full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our team in our Lorain office with travel to other west side offices as needed. As a technician, you will work directly with the patients and physicians each day, performing tasks such as: working- up patients, assisting physicians while in the exam room, operating visual testing equipment, and other duties assigned on an as needed basis. The ideal candidate will exhibit a positive attitude, have a passion for patient care, a willingness to learn, and can take and follow direction with minimal error. Great opportunity for students taking gap year(s) to accrue clinical hours.

Additional Information:

Entry level

This role requires daily use of electronic medical record software programs and computers

Previous experience is preferred but not required

Hours can range from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday

Travel to other offices may be necessary

Must be available to work some Saturday’s each month
