Position Summary:
goTRG is looking for a team-oriented, driven, and energetic Shipping and Receiving Clerk. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, and keeping accurate records.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

- Prepare daily outbound orders
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Audit and file inbound and outbound documents
- Process orders based on the buyer’s preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately
- Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items
- Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments
- Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets
- Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions
- Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional and ethical manner when representing a company
- Attention to detail
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
