Job Title: HOA Irrigation Technician
Pay:
Location: Kissimmee, FL
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Responsibilities
- Performs routine safety inspections on pump station and controller.
- Maintains proper adjustment of sprinkler heads, valves, wiring and controller.
- Cooperates and works with Golf Course IPM Technician during chemical and fertilizer applications that require specific irrigation applications.
- Operates all types of equipment; fairway mowers; rough mowers, turf vacuum, turf sweeper, various-loaders, topdressers, aerifiers and sprayers.
- May operate smaller equipment as directed by Supervisor.
- Ensures that the equipment cooling system is working at all times; refills fuel and checks oil daily; cleans equipment daily; and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
- Provides basic preventative maintenance on equipment as directed by Equipment Manager or Supervisor, and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
- Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
- Completing any other task/duties assigned
- Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
- Irrigation repair and/or landscape maintenance experience of at least 1 year is required. Golf course experience is a plus.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Valid driver’s license is required. Commercial driver’s license preferred.
- Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as lifting bending, twisting, climbing, etc.
- Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull at least 50lbs.
- Exposure to various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine, heat, and rain.
- May regularly be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic/caustic chemicals
