Job Summary
Client is seeking an experienced SAP HANA BI Security Administrator to design, implement, and support security controls across SAP HANA Business Intelligence environments. The role focuses on ensuring a secure, compliant, and auditable SAP landscape while supporting production operations and coordinating ongoing project deployments in alignment with security standards and design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain security across SAP HANA and SAP BI platforms including users, roles, privileges, analytic authorizations, and system privileges.
- Design and implement role-based access control (RBAC) following least-privilege principles.
- Implement and manage data masking, row-level, and column-level security for sensitive data protection.
- Utilize SAP HANA Cockpit for security administration, monitoring, auditing, and access health activities.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for user provisioning, role maintenance, access reviews, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis, BI, data integration, and release management teams to embed security across analytics and transport processes.
- Ensure secure data integration and compliance with governance standards.
- Support audit, risk, and compliance initiatives by providing access evidence and documentation.
- Create and maintain security standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA Security and SAP BI Security administration.
- Expertise in SAP HANA roles, analytic privileges, system privileges, and object authorizations.
- Experience with dynamic data masking, calculation view security, and analytic privilege filtering.
- Scripting experience for automation and security reporting (SQL, SQLScript, Python, PowerShell, Shell, etc.).
- Experience securing cross-database access (CDA) and remote sources.
- Knowledge of certificate management, encryption, and secure communications.
- Experience supporting HALM change lists and secure transport of HANA objects.
- Understanding of SAP SLT replication security.
- Experience supporting audit, compliance, and access governance initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in large enterprise SAP landscapes.
