What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Specialist position at REVEL SEARCH®?

Ideal candidate will live in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina or North Carolina - this is a fully REMOTE role with some travel required.


This is an entry-level role, we are not looking for a seasoned sales expert but rather someone who is driven, coachable and looking to join a team where you will find growth, mentorship and team spirit.


You'll start by learning the business, the insurance products, and the client base - with exposure to team meetings, training, and hands-on experience before becoming licensed. The company will sponsor your licensing process, which involves about a week of fast-paced coursework followed by the state exam. Expect about a 90-day ramp up period to get fully licensed and ready to sell.


Once licensed, you'll:

  • Make 50 - 100 outbound calls per day to set meetings and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Engage with employers to promote and support group insurance enrollment.
  • Build relationships with staffing and other industry clients.
  • Earn recurring commissions on each account - meaning you benefit from renewals and long-term client success.


With consistent effort and success, the right candidate can expect to earn $55k - $60k or more within the first year, with continued upward potential as accounts grow.


Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
