TITLE : Chief Radiation Therapist

LOCATION : Centerburg, Ohio

Position Highlights & Compensation :

Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 am – 3 : 30 pm.
Call Rotation : One week on, two weeks off.
No weekends, no holidays .
Salary : $84,000 - $107,000 depending on experience.
Full benefits package including a $15K sign-on bonus .

Qualifications :

Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Training Program .

Current ARRT (T) license in Radiation Therapy.

Maintain valid Ohio Department of Health Radiation Therapist license .

3-5 years of radiation therapy experience , including simulation and planning.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).

Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform radiation therapy duties and oversee administrative tasks as assigned by the department director.

Review, update, and educate staff on radiation policies, procedures, and Ohio Department of Health (ODH) requirements.

Ensure equipment quality checks are performed and logged, and that all equipment is in safe, working condition.

Lead Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI) meetings and assist with QA / QI plans.

Support the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standards and assist with patient care coordination.

Train, select, and orient new radiation therapy personnel.

Oversee staff competencies and evaluations .

Monitor radiation oncology billing procedures and assist with edits / audits.

Collaborate with physicists on safety and quality requirements.

Ensure continuous use of the electronic medical record system .
