What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer position at Revel Staffing?
The Controls Engineer will work on controls and automation projects to install new manufacturing systems and upgrade existing manufacturing systems. They will provide on-site support for controls and automation activities. This position is a REMOTE position near Minneapolis/ St. Paul.
Responsibilities
The Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop/Install/Commission Controls & Automation Systems, including PLC Programming, HMI Development, & MES Data Collection
- Controls & Automation Systems Technical Support,
- Design & Specification of Plant Control System Architecture, including Control Panels, Hardware, and Communication Protocols
- Develop/Enforce Process Controls Standards
- Must be someone hands on, willingness to change panel components and devices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years working within a Controls & Automation Engineering role
- Ladder Logic Programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix) is required
- Experience with Ignition is preferred
- Experience with Ethernet/IP Communication
