Responsibilities:
As a 6-Color Press Operator, you will print high-quality four-color process laser and spot ink color forms, aqueous and varnish coat mailers, doc wallets and pocket folders. You will be responsible for reading work orders, checking stock and ink requirements, and overall ensuring a high-quality product is produced in a cost effective manner. You will use quality check lists to detect errors and communicate with pre-press departments concerning any corrections needed. You will also work with other teams on overall process improvements to improve product scheduling. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
This is a second shift position located in Celina, OH.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to distinguish different shades of PMS ink colors (Pantone Matching System)
- Knowledge of ink and water balance (prior litho press experience is a plus)
- Excellent mechanical abilities a plus
