What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Staff position at Reynolds & Franke, PC?
We're a well-established and reputable local CPA firm in Austin, TX that is looking to add an Audit Staff to our team. This position will be an in-person role (potential for hybrid) and would be ideal for a staff accountant either looking to work in Austin or have a better work-life balance. The Audit Staff would work primarily within the audit department, responsible for fieldwork on audit and review engagements, but also be asked to perform bookkeeping responsibilities on some clients. Due to the size of the firm, there is plenty of potential to grow and increase work responsibilities.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.
- CPA license, currently sitting for the CPA exam, or making progress to sit for the CPA exam.
- 0-2 years of public accounting experience.
- Good communication skills to be used with other employees in the office and clients.
- Strong work ethic and detail-oriented; the flexibility to work overtime, if needed, to meet client deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.
- Experience with CCH Engagement is a plus.
- Nonprofit experience is a plus.
- QuickBooks and/or Sage experience would be helpful.
