Job Summary:
Richardson Motors, a reputable automotive dealership in Dubuque, Iowa, is seeking experienced and skilled Automotive Service Technicians at all levels to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry that offers a competitive compensation of $33 per flat rate hour. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical problems
- Repair and replace parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and fix issues
- Communicate with service advisors to explain repair needs and provide cost estimates for services
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technical knowledge
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Service Technician is preferred
- ASE certification is a plus
- Excellent mechanical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
