VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice is a full service Veterinary Hospital seeking an experienced veterinary assistant and/or licensed veterinary technician to join our team. We are a busy small animal hospital located in the Tottenville section of Staten Island that is open 7 days a week. Our location is an easy commute from New Jersey as we are 5 minutes from the Outerbridge Crossing. Out of state residents are encouraged to apply.  Full time and Part time positions available.  Skills: Proven experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals Excellent communication skills Patient and caring Ability to follow instructions Comfortable around cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to meet the physical demands of the job  Flexible schedule Self motivated and dependable We prefer candidates looking for a long term career opportunity Salary based on level of experience.
