Job description
We are currently seeking a Painter/Powder Coater to join our 3rd shift team at our North East, PA Manufacturing Facility. This position pays a competitive starting base pay plus incentive (piecework). Average piecework incentive can be at minimum 30% more per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial powder coat painting processes on production materials in accordance with quality standards.
- Must be capable of providing a high-quality finish with both automatic and hand spray gun.
- Must know how to perform testing of paint Mil thickness and adhesion.
- Loading/unloading materials on a conveyor belt system.
- Ability to skid & band materials for shipment.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to maintain quality production standards.
- Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Responsible for good housekeeping in your work area.
- Some heavy lifting as required.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial painting, manufacturing, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with painting/powder coat tools and procedures.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Basic math skills.
