Ridgetop Animal Hospital is a full service, 5 doctor veterinary hospital looking to add new members to our growing team. We strive to provide excellent client experiences and exceptional patient care. We offer wellness and sick patient care, surgical services, urgent care (same day appointments), radiography, in house laboratory, and many other services to our clients and their furbabies. We are currently looking for candidates that are flexible with their schedule ( we are currently Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm, but will be open again on Saturdays in the future), are problem-solvers, and have a passion for client service, as well as patient care. Veterinary Assistant job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Exposure to loud noises and strong smells
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
- Stand, stoop, kneel, stretch and reach above
- Practice low stress restraint of patients for treatments and sample collection
- Work independently after training is complete
- Obtain radiographs and samples from patients
- Assist doctors and LVTs with day to day appointments
- Recording patient data and history into our practice management system (Avimark)
