ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists with all overall administrative activities for the equipment department. Department budgeting, maintaining the capital budget, analyzing department income statement & tracking monthly equipment cost, issuing purchase orders for new equipment and trucks, tracking annual maintenance on equipment, processing leases & lease buyouts, and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
- Responsible for assisting with supervising the office’s day-to-day operations, approving all accounts payable invoices for rental equipment, repairs & maintenance to equipment, and plant improvements. Purchase of office supplies, housekeeping, etc.
- Participates as needed in special department projects.
- Additional duties/responsibilities as defined by the Area Manager
- Associate degree in Accounting/Business preferred and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in office management and understanding of accounting and administration procedures
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
