Rigdon is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development and Sales position.
We’re looking for a motivated salesperson to generate new client leads, create estimates and close sales, and create new sales opportunities with existing clients for our Kansas City and NW Arkansas locations.
Location: Kansas City Metro Area
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the market, identify competitors, trends, and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with leads and existing clients.
- Manage a sales pipeline to track leads and prospects.
- Maintain a full calendar schedule of meetings with prospective clients and existing clients and update CRM on activity.
- Set follow-ups for appointments and calls.
- Report weekly on all activity for each stage of the sales process.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance using key performance indicators and providing regular reports to management.
- Creatively address changing market conditions as needed by adjusting sales tactics and strategies.
- Utilize CRM software and other tools to manage leads, track interactions, and streamline the sales process.
- Collaborate with other departments and key personnel to ensure alignment strategy.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge to remain competitive in the market.
- The role may evolve over time based on the company's growth, industry dynamics, and strategic priorities. Effective communication, adaptability, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and challenges are key attributes for success in this multifaceted role.
- Become highly comfortable with the scheduling process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of B2B and B2C sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with CRM applications and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week between 8:00am - 6:00pm (Central time), Monday to Friday.
- Comfortable with ladders and heights.
- Must reside in the Kansas City area or nearby.
- You will need to be available for an in person interview at our location in the Kansas City area.
