Large In-Home Care Agency with a small family feel seeking to hire an individual who has a heart to serve and has expereince caring for cleints with dementia / alzheimers in the Carencro area!

Responsibilities could include :
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for the elderly / disabled
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Help with mobility
- Assist with personal care
- Plan and prepare meals
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
Qualifications
- 18 or older
- Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check
- Prior verifiable experience with all ADL's including changing, dressing, bathing, transferring (at least 1 year, family care included) *preferred
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation to and from work every single day
- Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

- Comfortable working with Memory Care Clients
