What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Care Aide position at Right at Home Modesto, CA?
Right at Home fills the need of care for senior citizens in Stanislaus, San Joaquin and Merced counties. Our dedicated team of professional caregivers help our clients to live independently in their own homes (with a little assistance from us).
We are continually adding to our permanent part time staff of qualified caregivers. The objective of this position is to provide care to individual clients by allowing them to remain in their home with dignity and security. This position has flexible hours and competitive pay. Training is provided as you grow with our team.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for serving others and can manage their own life effectively. The position requires a self-starter who will be accountable for the day-to-day activities of their clients.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assistance with bathing and dressing, grooming
- Toileting assistance
- Ambulation and repositioning
- Use of a gait belt and hoyer lift
- Hospice/End of life care
You may also do household chores and domestic duties such as:
- Laundry
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Transportation
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Posses a valid drivers license
- Have a vehicle that is registered and insured
- Ability to pass State mandated background check
