What are the responsibilities and job description for the (EOD-GRP/ESU II) Inventory Management Expert position at Rigid Tactical?
Rigid Tactical is currently seeking an Inventory Management Expert for an upcoming proposal in support of (EODESU – TWO) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek/Fort Story (JEB LC/FS), Virginia Beach, Virginia.
This is a proposal and will stop accepting applications on April 5th 2024. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Contractor shall provide Subject Matter Expert(s) to assist the government in the following areas: financial and inventory analysis, material support program analysis, inventory support, material processing for transportation and tracking, material transportation coordination, inventory administration operations, quality assurance, data input and analysis, facilities technical support services, and supply technical training.
Certifications & Educational requirements:
- Contractor shall possess at a minimum five (5) years of inventory management experience and have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in USN and the utilization of RSUPPLY system.
- Assist in maintaining inventories of personal gear issue (PGI), table of allowances (TOA), and consolidated shipboard allowances (COSAL) material.
- Assist in the management of inventory systems of record (Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)-WM, DPAS-PA, and R-Supply), to include stock record file maintenance, requisition receipt and issue processing, FACET program file maintenance and upload, and Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP) processing.
- Assist with the update and input of data in DPAS-A as required by instruction and other applicable directives. Including assistance in maintaining inventories of minor property equipment and assist with annual and semi-annual inventories.
- Assist in physical inventory management, to include receipt, issuing, stowage, offload, floor[1]to-book and book-to-floor inventory validation, Defective Material Summary (DMS) processing, shelf-life screening and offload preparation, and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) inventory management.
- Assist in the documentation and maintenance of administrative files for the programs under their cognizance.
- Shall scan, upload, and process documents into the current financial audit tool, ensuring Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance standards are met in preparation for the approval and submission of documents by EODESU TWO Supply Officer.
- Assist in the preparation of disposition paperwork for damaged or unserviceable equipment for transfer to Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO) service or other activity as required by EODGRU- TWO
- Assist in the collection of inputs from EODGRU TWO units for all data calls and provide consolidated responses to EODESU TWO Supply Officer no later than one (1) business day prior to deadline as delineated in the data call.
- Assist with daily file maintenance, correspondence and record keeping as well as providing supply customer service to EODGRU TWO as needed.
- Must possess a 6K forklift Operator license.
