Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day shift - Onsite at Riley Children's Hospital
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all activities related to the Magnet designation process, including planning, communication, evidence collection, exemplar development, and application submission.
- Develop, write, and maintain the Magnet documentation to ensure ongoing compliance and readiness.
- Serve as an expert resource on Magnet standards, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with nursing and non-nursing departments to facilitate participation and integration in the Magnet readiness process.
- Provide strategic consulting and support to the Chief Nursing Officer and Nursing Directors to foster a culture of nursing excellence.
- Monitor and evaluate Magnet-related metrics and implement improvements to sustain designation.
- Assist in preparing for Magnet evaluations and accreditation reviews, ensuring documentation and practices align with standards
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires a Masters degree in Nursing. Requires 5 years clinical experience in inpatient clinical settings.
- Requires experience in Magnet coordination.
- Requires experience in project management.
- Requires experience in publication and/or programmatic application writing skills.
- Previous professional publication and presentation skills at national level preferred.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills for a variety of different roles and leaders.
- Requires experience in or ability to use computerized databases.
