Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living

- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in Iowa

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting

- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Skills:

- Proficient in airway management and ability to ventilate patients when necessary

- Familiarity with suturing techniques for wound closure

- Understanding of medical imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes
