Ripple Effects Autism Learning Center, LLC is seeking outgoing, fun, silly, energetic and motivated individuals to work full time M-F (8:45am – 4:15pm) providing evidence-based, support therapy to children with autism spectrum and related disorders. Responsibilities include:
- Structured one-on-one instruction with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) primarily at our clinic but occasionally in their home, school and/or community settings
- Create a fun and supportive learning environment for children with special needs
- Implement school-readiness programs and behavior interventions as designed by a Behavior Analyst Supervisor
- Promote the development of functional communication skills (i.e. speaking and using assistive communication devices)
- Provide instruction on social skills (i.e. social interactions, play behavior, and conversational skills)
- Support independence with adaptive living skills (daily routines)
- Collect clinical data and track progress using an iPad and electronic data collection software
- Participate in team meetings with a BCBA, parents and other team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree, preferred)
- Strong desire to work with children with special needs, preferably autism
- Technology proficient in Apple and/or Android devices
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Must be able to accept constructive performance feedback
- Experience using positive reinforcement systems, preferred
- Experience implementing life skills and social skills programs, preferred
- Must complete 40 hour online Registered Behavior Technician Training prior to starting. Ripple Effects may offer the training but the time it takes to complete is unpaid.

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
