As a Cashier/Customer Service representative, you will be at the forefront of providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions for our valued customers. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, purchases, and returns.
- Operate cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
- Utilize strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in alignment with grocery store standards.
- Utilize basic math skills for transactions and retail math for pricing accuracy.
- Uphold a high level of professionalism and uphold TIPS guidelines for responsible alcohol sales.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interaction with customers
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions and retail math applications
- Experience in retail sales, particularly in a grocery store environment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace
- Familiarity with stocking and merchandising practices
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
