Are you a mechanical engineer with management experience looking for a role where you will take over an engineering department and lead and develop a multidisciplined team?

This organization are a designer and manufacturer of products and systems that are supplied into a range of manufacturing organization across the US. With a vast product range they are continually growing the organization and have large growth plans for the future. Now due to internal progression they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team.

In this role you will be running a engineering department with 7 direct reports. You will be responsible both the new build of systems and retrofits, and have both the commercial and technical responsibilities. You will sit on customer meetings of approvals, quotes and specifications and work with internal and external teams and companies to build and design systems through to manufacture and delivery.

You will be a mechanical engineer with management experience, who has commercial acumen and can understand mechanical systems. You will have knowledge of design, and ideally have knowledge of P&IDs, piping or skid design.

The Role:

• Take ownership of a engineering department and lead a team of 7 direct reports
• Work on both new systems and retrofits for a range of clients and industries
• Commercial meetings with clients and internal teams as well as external collaborative organizations
• Take mechanical systems through from design to manufacture and delivery

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineer with knowledge of mechanical systems and their workings
• Management experience of leading a team
• Design knowledge
• Any knowledge of P&IDs, piping or skids highly advantageous but training given
