Excellent opportunity for a Project Manager from a Mechanical/HVAC background to join an established and growing business where they will hold a significant amount of responsibility for the delivery of exciting high-profile projects such as at theme parks and space centers.
This leading HVAC/R and mechanical services business has forged close relationships with a diverse range of commercial clients across Florida and further afield, providing design-build and maintenance services at places such as hospitals, universities, theme parks and transit facilities.
In this role you will be involved across all stages of project lifecycle, covering things such as project planning/budgeting, work allocation, resource management and overseeing installations while also reporting to key stakeholders throughout project delivery.
The ideal candidate will come from a Mechanical background and will have 10 years’ experience working with HVAC systems, along with demonstrable experience specifically in Project Management for HVAC/MEP projects.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys varied and challenging work to leave their mark on some of the largest projects of their kind in Florida while being able to enhance their status working with well-known clients.
The role:
* Taking full ownership and leading on commercial HVACR projects
* Travelling to sites in the local area to oversee work during the installation phase
* Working closely with various internal teams such as Designers, Estimators and Preconstruction staff
* Purchasing and monitoring deliveries of parts and equipment
The Person:
* Coming from a mechanical engineering background
* Ideally educated to Degree level in Mechanical Engineering, although not essential
* 10 years’ experience working with HVAC/R systems or wider MEP projects
* Demonstrable Project Management experience specifically for HVAC/R or MEP projects
* PMP certification (advantageous but not essential)
* Full driving license
