Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
- Coordinate benefit enrollment and help answer employee benefit-related questions.
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Partner with management on performance management and employee development.
- Assist with HR compliance, audits, and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Help plan and support employee engagement activities and company events.
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Administration of organization’s benefits programs, which may include medical/health, dental, disability, vision and life insurance, retirement plans, and more.
- Communicate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and ensure quality service.
- Act as a liaison with carriers and third-party vendors; manage and monitor EDI feeds to ensure timely, accurate transmission of eligibility data.
- Review and reconcile monthly benefits invoices for all vendors to ensure accuracy and alignment with payroll deductions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of HR experience; generalist experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Experience with iSolved is a plus.
