- Provide support duties such as typing, answering telephones, greeting students and ensuring messages are received
- Assist the Program Coordinator with registration, the maintenance of participant files, input attendance, and ensuring internal and external databases and files are up to date
- Call students to follow up on absenteeism and/or to collect necessary documents
- Document all face-to-face and telephone conversations with students
- Assist the Program Coordinator with the coordination of special events
- Assist with any program activity deemed necessary by the Program Coordinator
- Conduct individual intake assessments with program students
- Assist with TABE and Best Plus pre and post-testing
- Provide overall support and assistance to the program
- Assist with registration and enrollment process
- Inform Program Coordinator of any issues and updates as they arise
- *During the months of July and August, contingent on the availability of funds, Program Aide will transition to a position within the Education Division that is comparable in duties and responsibilities
- Detail oriented
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Must be able to meet set deadlines
- Willing to go above and beyond program mandates for the benefit of the program participants
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Must be willing to work morning and evening hours to accommodate needs of the program
