Overview
The Health Services Clinic at Rising Ground is a pediatric primary care clinic for children and adolescents in the Foster Care, Residential, and Justice for Youth and Families Programs. The Health Services Administrator is responsible for working together with the Health Services clinical and administrative teams to ensure the delivery of high quality, coordinated medical care. This includes frequent interactions with clients and their families, service providers, care coordinators, and insurance companies. The Health Services Clinic is in the South Bronx, near a major subway hub. This is a full-time position and includes the option of a remote workday.

Annual Salary
$47,000 - $53,000
Responsibilities
- Billing Administration
- Coordinate and work together with the Medicaid Managed Care Plans Foster Care Liaisons
- Interact with staff in the Medical Billing department, assist with preparation of medical billing reports as needed
- Assist with prior-authorization requests and processes
- Referrals Administration
- Coordinate referrals to medical subspecialists and community-based providers
- Schedule subspecialty referral appointments
- Track subspecialty referral appointments, obtain documentation of subspecialty appointments, assist with additional medical records requests as needed
- Medical Office Administration
- Participate in Health Services quality improvement projects
- Prepare forms and letters as requested
- File documents in the electronic health record
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, familiarity with electronic health records
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
