Responsibilities of a Childcare Teacher:
- Plan and follow a full schedule of curriculum that are age appropriate.
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child’s abilities.
- Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children.
- Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
- Help children explore the world, improve their motor skills and grow their vocabulary.
- Keep a neat, clean, safe classroom environment for children, parents and other staff.
- Following Kindergarten Readiness Program
Qualifications of a Childcare Teacher:
- Must be able to pass a Kansas background check.
- Required to pass a TB test and physical.
- Will be required to pick up but not limited to at least 50lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Prior experience working in a childcare setting preferred but not a must as we will train the right person!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
