Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Operator with Rite Stuff Foods, you will be responsible for operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment to safely and efficiently move goods and materials. This role requires knowledge of forklift operation, adherence to safety protocols, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move goods and materials throughout the plant.
- Stage and supply production lines with raw goods.
- Prepare, report and transport finished pallets for storage in the freezer.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the facility.
- Warehouse inventory staging, counting and organization.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning and advise the appropriate leader/associate should there be any issues or concerns.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Substitute for other operators when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
- Follow company policies and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Maintain a valid forklift operator certification (training provided by RSF).
- Demonstrate a good attendance record and work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (minimum of 50 lbs.) as required.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form.
