River Crest Country Club is actively hiring Lifeguards for the 2024 summer season.
Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.
The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $18.00 per hour based on verifiable experience.
JOB SUMMARY
The Lifeguard at River Crest is responsible for implementing all water safety policies and procedures. Supervises Members and guests in and around the pool to provide a safe environment. Interacts with Members and guests to provide a positive pool experience. Must be prepared to provide lifesaving CPR and first aid skills in an emergency.
QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS
- All lifeguard staff must have current year American Red Cross Lifeguarding and CPR certification. These certifications will be provided on site.
- Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
- Must present a neat and clean personal appearance.
- Must have timely, reliable attendance.
- Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward Members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS
Ensures Pool Safety to include:
- Supervising and observing swimmers at all times to ensure their safety
- Administer CPR and First Aid from minor to major injuries
- Enforce rules of conduct
- Assist with swim/dive team and holiday activities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of entire pool area
- Maintain In-service and fitness requirements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to stoop, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to work in a variety of weather condition including heat and cold.
- Work in direct sunlight and take responsibility for sun protection and/or sunscreen.

Qualifications
Salary : $15 - $18
