Job Requirements
- Current New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Previous Case Management/Utilization Review experience preferred
- Proficient with healthcare management and clinical software systems
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in discharge planning and patient education
- Ability to conduct and interpret patient assessments
- Knowledge of insurance coverage, claims, and reimbursements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- BLS certification or ability to obtain within a specified time frame
- Hazards include risk of exposure to communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, and exposure to computer equipment.
