River Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse with strong Clinical and Leadership Skills to join our Inpatient Unit Team as the Nurse Manager of Inpatient Services
This position will come with a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, relocation cost reimbursement, full benefit package. Our Clinic Nurse Manager will report to our Chief Nursing Officer.
Job Purpose
A clinically competent registered, licensed nurse who provides immediate, specialized patient care with a multidisciplinary Provider team. Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the nursing care delivered, and the organizational day to day structure of their Unit.
Qualifications
- Valid and current registration, NYS RN license
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience in an Inpatient setting preferred
- Previous nurse leadership/management experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft platforms: Word, Excel, Power Point.

The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.
Working conditions and Physical requirements
- Monday to Friday in coordination with the operations of the clinics.
- OSHA Category A – potential for exposure to blood and other infectious body substances.
- Bending, lifting, standing, walking, must possess the physical ability to perform CPR.
Salary : $78,000 - $88,000
