Are you a passionate cook or dietary professional looking to make a difference? River Oaks our assisted living facility in Columbia Heights, MN, is seeking dedicated Part-Time and Full-Time Dietary Staff / Cooks to join our compassionate team. You'll work alongside other committed professionals, providing exceptional culinary care to our residents with a focus on compassion, excellence, and innovation.
What You'll Do:
As a vital member of our dietary team, you will:
- Prepare delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring high-quality food that promotes satisfaction.
- Follow daily menus and handle food operations in compliance with department and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining room, and dishwashing area, including all kitchen equipment.

Who We're Looking For:
While previous food service experience is a plus, it's not required! We're seeking individuals who have:
- The ability to perform basic math for recipes and portion control.
- A keen eye for portioning and understanding the purpose of different sizes.
- The ability to follow a menu accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with our residents.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
