We are a Skilled Nursing and Rehab facility in Amsterdam, New York. We are looking for an RN Weekend Supervisor to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional who can supervise the best nursing care for staff.
Available Shift:
6:00 am-10:00 pm ( Saturday and Sunday)
Join us as a Weekend Warrior RN Supervisor and enjoy our unique work schedule. You can work from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (30 hours) and get paid for 40 or choose to work 15 hours on Saturday and get paid for 20; the same goes for Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and provide input for improvements
- Check on new residents admitted to a facility
- Ensure that resident comfort and safety is being maintained
- Ensure that resident dignity and privacy is being attended to
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
- Supervise LPNS and CNAs
- Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of emergency care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
- BSc or other diploma from a nursing program
- Valid RN license – NYS
