River's Edge Brewing Co. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. We're looking for a positive person who wants to be a crucial part of a great team. This position will start with 24-32 hours with the strong possibility of full time within several weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist Taproom staff with cleaning and maintenance projects.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
