River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services. Our mission is to serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve.
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Social Worker to join our team. Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in a school district in Washington County, PA, for the 2024-2025 school year.
As a member of the school team, you will work with school staff and administration, as well as families, for the betterment of each student
What You Will Do

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Social Worker to join our team. Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in a school district in Washington County, PA, for the 2024-2025 school year.
As a member of the school team, you will work with school staff and administration, as well as families, for the betterment of each student
What You Will Do
- provide daily therapy services (individual and group sessions) to students identified as requiring school-based social work services
- work within IEPwriter, completing progress notes each 9 weeks
- provide consultation to staff on social work topics for the betterment of each student
- participate in district in-services and attend trainings required by the position for the safety and well-being of all
- follow the school district’s daily and yearly calendar for times of employment
- complete daily documentation
- maintain communication with staff and families
- regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success
- maintain a weekly schedule
- promote a safe and welcoming environment for students
Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant school-based experience and the following credentials/skills:
- Licensed Social Work credential in the state of Pennsylvania
- excellent communication skills
- professional and positive work ethic
- desire to work in a school-based setting
- passion for helping students succeed in their academic goals by promoting wellness and positive mental health
- clearances are required
